For example, isopropyl myristate is a self-emulsifying ingredient in cold cream recipes that can be used as a base for many medications and skin medications; In cosmetology it is also used in a stable mixture of water and glycerin. Isopropyl myristate can be used as a penetration enhancer in transdermal absorption preparations and can be combined with ultrasound and iontophoresis for treatment. As the main component of the oil phase, nutmeg isopropyl ester can be used in aqueous long release oil – cream gels (water emulsion – extended release oil gel).
